We are looking for a proactive and experienced Technical Manager to lead our engineering team and oversee the delivery of high-quality technical solutions. This role involves managing day-to-day development activities, mentoring engineers, and ensuring alignment between technical execution and business objectives.
Job Responsibilities-
• Lead and manage software engineering teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and QA to define and execute project requirements.
• Conduct regular code reviews, ensure adherence to software engineering best
practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Drive architectural decisions and guide teams in scalable, secure, and maintainable system design.
• Mentor junior team members, identify skill gaps, and facilitate training and
professional development.
• Oversee sprint planning, tracking, and retrospectives to ensure efficient Agile delivery.
• Manage technical risks and provide timely resolutions to blockers and escalated issues.
• Continuously evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance engineering productivity.
• Participate in recruitment efforts, evaluate candidates, and onboard new team members to build a high-performing engineering team.
Required Skills-
• Proficiency in Java development and full-stack software engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud services such as AWS or Azure, including deployment and scaling strategies.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices – CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Ability to conduct performance tuning, code optimization, and maintain high availability systems.
• Familiarity with software architecture design, system integration, and modern web technologies.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a deep understanding of system reliability and resilience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team leadership and stakeholder collaboration.
Qualifications-
Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT. At least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
