Business Development Manager / Senior Business Development Manager

Experience:  5-10 Years

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives, build long-term client relationships, and drive revenue expansion. The ideal candidate should have strong strategic thinking, proven sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify and convert high-value business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities-

1. Business Growth & Strategy

Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities across existing and new markets. 
Drive lead generation and pipeline development through networking, outreach, and strategic partnerships.
Conduct market analysis to understand trends, competition, and customer needs. 

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management 

Lead end-to-end sales cycles including presentations, proposal creation, negotiations, and closures.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and clients.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and foster long-term client loyalty.
Collaborate with internal teams (Delivery, Marketing, Product, Leadership) to tailor solutions for client requirements.

 3. Sales Operations & Performance 

Develop and manage sales forecasts, sales reports, and performance dashboards. 
Track KPIs, revenue goals, and performance metrics to ensure consistent achievement.
Prepare high-quality proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations.
Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.  

4. Collaboration & Leadership 

Work closely with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns and sales collateral. 
Provide insights and feedback for product/service enhancements based on market needs.
Mentor junior team members and support onboarding of new BD executives.

Required Qualifications & Skills-

• 5–10 years of proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales, consultative selling, and enterprise client management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategies and manage large pipelines.
• Experience working with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills-

• Industry experience in IT Services, SaaS, Consulting, or Technology Solutions (customize as needed).
• Expertise in building high-value partnerships and managing enterprise accounts.
• Understanding of proposal writing, pricing strategies, and contract structures.
